OUR BEEF
Located in Omaha, home to one of the nation’s largest cattle livestock markets, Nebraska Beef has access to an unlimited supply of the midwest’s finest quality corn fed beef—renowned for its exceptional flavor and tenderness.
OUR CATTLE
We partner with local farmers and ranchers to source English-bred Angus cattle. We have been involved with some of these partnerships since the commencement of the Company. We work with our cattle feeding partners to continually improve the quality of our beef.
Cattle must be raised on a corn-fed diet having at minimum 80% feed from corn sources. Cattle are fed up 140 days and are all born, raised, and processed in the USA. The majority of our cattle being raised within a 250-mile radius of our Omaha-based plant.
Operationally, we have developed and implemented a systematic approach to the humane handling of all livestock, meeting the requirements of both the NAMI guidelines and the Humane Slaughter Act.
PRODUCTS & PROGRAMS
Our products deliver you unmatched quality in traditional cuts while our custom programs provide you with unique value not seen elsewhere in the industry. Offering USDA Graded Prime, Choice, and Select products, we produce a complete line of both specialty trimmed and commodity boxed beef.
All our Corn Fed beef is finished within a 250-mile radius of our facility, ensuring freshness and flavor. Our custom beef programs provide unique value by offering Angus beef in USDA Choice and Select Quality Grades.
OUR CUSTOMERS
We proudly partner with businesses across the beef industry: grocery stores, club chains, wholesale distributors, and restaurants. Our large 212,000 sq. ft. facility in Omaha provides the capacity to serve the needs of large chain customers.
Our single facility location provides a hands-on management style, allowing us to deliver custom beef programs and specialized product requirements. This mix of capability and customization gives us the flexibility to handle unique orders and and adjust our production to fill your immediate needs. Quick turnaround is never a problem.
SHIPPING
Nebraska Beef has a state-of-the-art box storage facility on-site. This facility includes a blast freezer to ensure all frozen products are quickly frozen to the optimal temperature. Our location in the Midwest—at the center of transportation routes—assures you of fast and dependable product delivery.
