Omi Gyu from Okaki Farm
Okaki Farm produces Ohmi Gyu which ranks as one of three major Wagyu brands alongside Kobe Beef and Matsusaka Beef. Okaki Farm is currently managing 800 cattle under a vertically integrated operation managing from calving to fattening of cattle.
Okayama Family which operates Okaki Farm can trace their livestock business from 1839 and currently the sixth generation is managing the enterprise.
The motto carried on by Okayama Family is to produce delicious Ohmi Gyu by carrying on the traditional method of raising cattle with pursuit of new feed ingredients.
The Okayama family operates their own restaurants and meat shops which helps them to check the taste. The family is taking on the challenges to entice the palate of people all over the world.
